Nominated for Best Animated Short Film at the 92nd Annual Academy Awards.

Created at CalArts with director Siqi Song, I helped establish the film’s visual style through extensive ideation sessions and prototyping. This was a student thesis film with a shoestring budget. We explored ways to integrate felt and wool into the set design, ultimately developing a monochromatic palette where texture drove visual variation. I led a small team of fabricators in building modular sets and select props, bringing the film’s tactile world to life.
