Nominated for Best Animated Short Film at the 92nd Annual Academy Awards.

We made this at CalArts. I established the creative visuals for the film with director, Siqi Song. We held a lot of ideation sessions and prototyped different ways we could utilize felt and wool throughout the set design. The film had a monochromatic color palette and relied on textures to create variation.

I led a small team of fabricators to help us create the modular sets and some of the props.
