I joined this stop-motion project as a model builder, tasked with creating miniatures that would define the film’s visual identity. The director envisioned a gritty New York underbelly — a city starved of sunlight, inspired by Weegee’s photography and the shadowy aesthetics of 1940s film noir. Drawing on that mood, I designed, built, and painted the miniature prison along with the majority of the city’s buildings, shaping the atmospheric backdrop for the story.
